This project brings public geological evidence into a statistical workflow for investigating mineral prospectivity in Western Australia. The core library can be used from an application, command line or notebook.
The approach
The workflow places provenance, uncertainty and validation alongside the resulting maps. Its outputs describe statistical spatial associations and require qualified geological interpretation and ground-truthing; the project is a decision-support prototype.
